Conversations for Impact:
20 Years of Supporting Educators
Tuesday, January 29, 2019, 9:15 - 11:00 AM
The Impact Lab at Gateway High School
Part of our ongoing Conversations for Impact series, we're sitting down with Gateway educators to discuss what it takes to attract and retain teachers in the public education profession in the midst of San Francisco's teacher shortage crisis. Research confirms that highly skilled teaching is the most important factor for students' experience and growth in school. However, educators do not receive the prestige, compensation or support they deserve. At Gateway, we aim to change this. Join us as our middle and high school teachers and administrators share their personal experience and answer questions about how they're supported at Gateway and what schools can do to make teaching exciting and sustainable.
This event is free of charge and a light breakfast will be served. Parking is available on site.
