Jerrina Alverio (she/her)

Jerrina D. Alverio, also known as “Jerri” from her former years attending Gateway High School, graduated with the “Respect for Differences” Award in 2011. She returns to the Bay Area after spending ten years in Humboldt where she received her Bachelors of Science in Rangeland Resource Science with an emphasis in Wildland Soils. Her passion for the outdoors has translated into the classroom where she is in the process of getting her masters degree in education. This new role as a Sub and Support teacher will be an exciting and rewarding experience, especially since Gateway has felt like home for her since her teen years.
