High School Humanities Teacher (2023-2024)

Gateway High School

Gateway High School is committed to helping each student—regardless of learning style or previous academic achievement—gain the skills, habits and knowledge necessary for post-secondary success. Humanities Teacher Responsibilities Include:

  • Teach five blocks of Humanities– grade level and course to be determined  
  • Collaborate with the department and course team to plan and improve curriculum
  • Serve as an Advisor for 18 students

Qualifications:

  • Commitment to Gateway's mission, including a desire to work with a diverse student body
  • Desire to be part of building the larger school culture and community
  • Current California single subject credential in English Language Arts or Social Science
  • Bilingual and BIPOC candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
