Gateway Public Schools’ development team seeks an enthusiastic and experienced fundraising professional with a commitment to public education, students and families, and the San Francisco community. We are in a unique position to be expansive in our search to find our perfect candidate to meet the needs of the team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to specialize and grow in or who has established experience in corporate engagement/CSR or grants management. We are looking for someone who can take over one of these two areas to better distribute the workload among our team, and help us achieve ambitious fundraising goals.
We have drafted examples of two versions of roles within these two areas of need:

- Chanda Lockhart (she/her), Chief Development Officer (5.5 years at Gateway)
- Danielle Smith (she/her), Sr. Communications Manager (4 years at Gateway)
- Alexandria Cempaka Wyllie (she/her), Community Engagement Manager (1.5 years at Gateway)
- Teter Lindsie (they/them), Development Associate (2 months!)
Gateway Public Schools and our team is deeply committed to antiracism and community-centric fundraising – fundraising values grounded in racial equity and justice. We are looking for someone who is excited to learn, be reflective, and be actively antiracist.
