Family Information Nights
Gateway will be hosting quarterly Family Information Nights to educate families on how they can best support their students academically, to celebrate students’ success, and to provide a forum to build active parent and family involvement in the school. We value the active participation of families, so the first half of the evening will typically be school-led and the second half of the evening will always include time for parent-led groups. For example, during the school-led portion of the night, we will typically share important school news and opportunities, offer parent education workshops, and showcase student awards. During the second half of the evening, we hope to have parent groups meet to work on projects planned by the Gateway Parent Association. We strongly encourage all families to attend the following four Family Information Nights, for we believe that they are essential to a strong family-school partnership that fosters student success.
